When clicking on a video thumbnail, the video will start playing in the “Preview” pane.
If the video is a live stream, the operator of the Content Management will be able to interact with the contributor via IFB-style audio talk back or text messages.
Audio talk back
Tapping on the "chat" icon when hovering over the video, interaction options will appear below the video.
Tap on "Click to talk" and the app user will receive a request to accept or decline talk back in the Bambuser broadcast app interface.
The browser may ask for permission to use the microphone, please allow this (and preferably tick the box for “Always allow”).
It’s possible to initiate talk back sessions on multiple previews at the same time and then mute individual channels by clicking the "Audio" button below the video player.
We strongly recommend that the contributor is using a headset during a talk back session in order to avoid acoustic feedback.
The message function is activated the same way as for a talk back request. Type in the field where it says "Type a message" and hit send. The app user will receive the message in the Bambuser broadcast app interface.
Note that the message function is a one-way communication and read-only for the app user.
